1, Question:Will this work on the new 2021 f150?
Answer: I'm pretty sure it will , tailgates don't change much.
This one is easiest to install of all units advertised, inexpensive, don't have to remove tailgate to install.
Cheap enough to give it a try. Can always return if doesn't fit. Best addition to my truck, 10 minutes to install.

3, Question:Did not receive instructions where can I get them
Answer:It's pretty simple remove top bolt on left top hinge on truck box install bracket on that bolt remove bottom bolt on tailgate itself install remaing bracket there now install shock .

4, Question:Has anyone else been having issues with the retaining clips detaching and going missing from the locking heads of the shock?
Answer:Since I installed mine, I haven’t had any issues.
